When Heaven’s grace we seek to find
When love’s our great desire
Though wholly lost though bound and blind
Salvation comes with fire
Burning with love glowing with care
More radiant than the sun
Dawning upon a sinner’s prayer
Where absolution’s won
To humble souls with heart contrite
With lives to Jesus sold
Forgiveness comes with robes of white
And crowns of purest gold
Yet will our trust in Jesus stand?
Will heart and soul be one?
When even death invades the land
Belonging Christ God’s Son
Pray faith will be abundant then
Pray strength throughout the fight
Courage to face the scourge of men
Devoid of Heaven’s Light
Stand firm o soldier of The Cross
Consider Christ who died
He’ll never see that suffer loss
That must be multiplied
So heed the gospel Truth would tell
Practice it and live
Ploughing the land, scattering well
The seed your God will give
Take care that no one takes you prize
Obey your Saviour’s rules
Beware of Satan, all men’s lies
And walk no path of fools
