Walk Of Life Poem by Varchaswi Putcha

Walk Of Life

I walk
behind her rhythm
My eyes plant there
like a tattoo!

I happened to be
always ‘behind'
for years
nay, for ages
without a contact, eye to eye

Times rolled
Tides too tired
The walk continues
dyingfrom behind her!

One day, I dumbstruck
on listening somebody
from my behind
bombarding at me
‘why won't you look back ever
even whileshe has been groping
your shadow in warmth
from behind for ages? '
and
‘whyshould she tattoo your mien
on her time-line
of her swaying waist-line? '
Yes, a walk-of-life
is an enigma ever for many
