Walk On Poem by Emily Reid

Walk On

The moment I saw you standing there
I was lost in your eyes
And gradually I made a promise to you
That I’ll stand by your side

I know im not someone
Who can bring a star for you
But If it was possible
I could have reached that far for you

I know im not a superhero
Maybe im not the one you dreamt of
But am not a looser
And I wouldn’t leave you alone
Wherever you go I’ll walk on

The way you walk the way you smile
You can make a man chase you down thousand mile
You are the one whose my type
And I really wish I could be there in your sight

I know im not someone
Who can give you everything you want
But if you ask for my love
I can give it all

I know im not a hero
Maybe im not the one you thought of
And even if am a zero
Think of the value its adds on
And you wouldn’t be lonely
Wherever you’ll be I’ll carry you on
