Walking Away Poem by Oladimeji Hakeem Olayinka

Walking Away

I'm walking way,
I will be gone for a little while.
I will be so far Away.
From this impregnable wall of life.
Seeking benignity in the life of race
Working for the betterment of our life.

You're my love
You're my life
You're my heart,
And the Harmony that reign on my shore.
I'm walking away and terrain on the path of life
Promise you will wait for me?
Promise you will still be there for me?
I will be back in a giffy.

To be with you was my only desire
The happiness and peace of mind,
In every corner of this little world,
I found the gold beneath your feet.
Life is full of ups and down.
Will there be another way of throwing my love?

I'm walking way
From this impregnable wall of life
You will always be on my mind
I will miss your camera smiles
I will miss your voice and your hug
I will miss your joke and how you made me feel
I will miss all those precious moments and unending laughters

My tears turn cold where they fell
The pain of loosing you keep rising in my heart.
I don't know what life hold for us.
As am walking away from this precious bound.
