Wanderlust Poem by Jibrael Jos

Wanderlust

I'll travel to ends of the earth
Or Circumnavigate the globe
Whether this earth is flat or round
I refuse to sit here and grow old

Wanderlust is in my genes
My ancestors explored far and wide
I cannot be chained to a desk
I need to take my life on a ride

Challenges are bound to be there
Twists and turns cannot throttle my flow,
Where the road ends and trails begin
That is where my heart wants to go

I want to climb the mountains
And swim in the deep blue sea
Multiple road trips and train journeys
It will all happen to me
