Washing - Poem by Victoria Hughes

Time to put the washing out
Get up off your butt lady,
I know the pond looks so enchanting
Glistening gayly for all to see.
But put it out whilst the sun's still shining,
And watch the water next time,
Get up off your butt young lady
And put the clothes on the washing line.
