We marched
Arms linked in solidarity
Our pink capped faces
Black, white, brown
Created a fabric of resistance
Against the hate
Divisivness and fear
That just the day before
Had commandeered our country
We sang
Melodies that celebrate
The many unique gifts
That we have brought
To this, our nation
We joined
In fellowship with all of those
Who this administration would
Grind under the hostile foot
Of prejudice and censure
We stood
Together in the face
Of those who seek
To silence our opinions
Our freedoms
Our worth.
WE STAND
UNITED! !
