If I could do things over again
I'd still choose you as my lover and best friend
From the very start my heart knew
My love for you is something that'll always be true
My heart smiles when I think of you
The joy you bring to my life; I hope I bring to you too
When I need comfort; you're always there
Reassuring me during times; that I'm scared
When life's twists and turns have things upside down
I look to you to help turn things around
Your calming words ring in my ear
Whispering to me; "there's nothing to fear"
I feel such peace when I see your face
You're my souls saving grace
We've the same sense of humor; you and I
You make me laugh so hard, I cry
Our bond has stood the test of time
A once in a lifetime friendship few people ever find
I feel what you're feeling; when you're happy or sad
I'm with you every step; through the good and the bad
I won't leave you; never doubt my devotion
My love is as deep; as the deepest ocean
We've so much fun together; this'll always be
I'm as much a part of you; as you are me
