We Are The Ones That You Love. Poem by belinda mrwebi

We Are The Ones That You Love.

What do we do in the presence of love? what do we say to the one who has loved us before the beginning of time.
What do we say in the presence of the one who created the universe cognisant of every condition we would ever face?
Since the beginning of time, you have covered us with insoluble grace.
We, us.
we are the ones you love,
travelling the earth through different experiences and discovering the depth of your love.
Unveiling the layers and shades in which you have proven love to be.
In the depth of our souls, you planted your breath so we could walk this life with the assurance of your presence.
Embedded your creator self in our DNA so everything we do could reflect your grandeur.
Our talents mirror an extension of heaven.
How do we even begin to comprehend the presence of the one who is both God of small things and massive shifts of the universe.
This kind of love that makes us want to bow in reverence and embrace with affection at the same time.
This kind of love that makes us wants to run to, and run from at the same time.
this kind of love that mirrors and reflects the beauty of our ancestors.
this kind of love that calls our souls to a place of peace.

What do we in the presence of love?
who do we become when love stars us right in the face and reminds us that we are the ones that you love.
what do we do in the presence of love!
