We Don't Have To Be In A Relationship

You were my pleasant thought
That was before
My feelings for you faded
Every picture of us was painted not taken
I miss the chances I thought I had maybe there was a future in there
It was killed by silence everytime we went quiet after my attempt of showing interest everytime I showed it you would mize me
Maybe time was the issue you were on your list ticking the boxes of securing Mr Right I thought I was the one
The way you'd blush at my foolishness
And smile at me wondering you had me talking about you telling my friend how I'm all about you he's our mutual friend and that makes me wonder if he ever shared the talks we had with you or used them to stand a chance with you cause on the day I finally told you I love you he was there he gave us space but his presence being felt made you uncomfortable in talking to me and made me believe he was the reason your response to my affection was just silence I felt Jealous but I was understanding your situation you were in your feelings I was in my feelings too pity mine involved you
You taught me a valuable lesson when my love for you put me in a intense depression
I learned to never ever force a relationship next time I won't make up feelings that ain't there I fell in love with an Idea I'm glad we still connect and if it's destiny to be together I'll let the feelings create themselves if it's not meant to be carry on with your life knowing I love you
We don't have to be in a relationship
For me to love you so
