The light will shine down on you
As you push through broken gates
The sadness of your past behind you
Will slowly fade away

I have the scars, I know your strain
But the further you walk, the less the pain
We cannot know what lies ahead
But if we stayed there, we'd be dead

My sun shines gold, but yours may still be grey
But listen to me, you'll see the day
We're not alone in this vast world
We all have friends like hidden pearls

Just keep pushing through that place
We built long ago to keep us safe
Who would have thought it was a mere distraction
The great red herring of inaction

Don't stop now, the sun shines bright
The further you go from the fields of strife
I do not know of future whether
But Take my hand, we'll go together
