We Remain Not Alive To Witness Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

We Remain Not Alive To Witness

We remain not alive to witness
But our offspring will definitely perceive
There is nothing worth to be called eternal.
During course of time Sun and Stars
Will stop to burn and emit light
Due to lack of helium gas.
Destruction is inevitable sooner or later
Still you needn't have to worry about it
Millions of years are left
For your generation.
It is just an attempt to remind
Death is ultimate truth for
Both living and non living.
The word eternal has turned
Indomitable painting brush
Available for theologians and poets
For the flight of imagination
In heavenly abode.
