Weather Poem by mike hayes

Weather

In the heat of the night
I felt the moon rise
A pearl pudding between two mounds
Full and round

A cool breeze caressing
The heat that is emanating
Hot like a volcano flow within the ground

Pushing and Pulsating
The Earth moves anticipating
The eruption that must come forth

Will you wait and watch
The marvel, awesome to behold
Knowing it threatens to consume your soul.
