The sun and the wind at blows:
'Take that' said the sun, 'and that'!
'Up your nose with a rubber hose-
'Take that! ' the wind shot back,
and showed the sun his fists
and in his fiery eye
rubbed sand and cinders
and in the course of these remonstrations
froze a couple of rivers.
But the sun banked and rose
to the very top of the world;
launched from peaks of nothingness
a blazing air campaign
until the wind fell low
t'gasping at his feet,
and fawning on his Tamerlane
fanned his famous cheek.
