Wedding Bells Poem by William B. Deutscher

Wedding Bells

Wedding bells for you,
lost in a minute's gold,
washed-out strands of summer
soon enough unfold
as the late-comer
does it again
in the park
before dark.
Disconsolate breeze,
and the day Is soaked in rain,
shaking the trees
through and through.
