Weeping Willow Poem by Rashad Nyango

Weeping Willow

In a distance-a dejection of faith
And the mellowing moments that sprouth
Thence, a smile from the Sky

Gladdening of greens- Strength, and ambiance
Amidst tidings of the pines and oaks- her neighbors
Yes, and love for her never fades
Blossoming on the shores of rivers

Streaming tears of piety
Her Tears, tearing in beauty-her garment
And Loving her roots, and her adoring eloquence

Then, the sun smiles again
Allowing her tears to garner again
Transmitting her emotions to earthly gain

And when the rains are falling-dripping with droplets
Calming the emptiness of her crying nests
Though, foreseen as tipsy
A show ofpride that offer abundance...
