Wessawalahaka.
Been so kind, mercy and sympathy
Given rain, wind, sun and prosperity
Timely, finely and friendly
Rich and poors irrespectively
Tea, rubber, cocounut, rice and vegetable fields
Fostered, nurtured and flourished
Mountains, mines, forests and streams
Atmosphere and temperature comforts
We offered you with “ Deva Dana “ with our reaping s miniature
Never intending to go against nature
Struggle for living became a failure
With love for your powers so splendor
We invoked blessings and apologies
“ Bodhi pooja” “ deva pooja” and prayers with clergies
But oh, my lord why are you so cruel today?
Merciless wild and adamant massacring thousands of lives so innocent
Pretty kids, children, aged men and adolescent
cattle, poultry and tradesmen
Making homeless, penniless and cloth less bread less of the average net
We are not the creators or investors, undertakers or ordrerers
For constructions, deforest rations and devastations
Nor are we the proposes or supporters
We are only their workers
My lord please stops revenging us now
We pray you all, we apologize you
We had no other living will you
Please listen to us we plead you
Be mercy upon us, Be mercy upon us, Be mercy upon us... will you?
