Wet And Windy Haiku Poem by Mary Champion

Wet And Windy Haiku

Rating: 5.0

The relentless rain
falls steadily through the night
rinsing the dawn sky.

Whistling wind and rain
under a gun-metal sky,
scattering the leaves.

Rainbow kites soaring
straining to sever the strings
that inhibit them.

Brisk breeze making waves
in the early summer leaves -
as soft clouds slide by.
