Wet Smiles Poem by prita srini

Wet Smiles

Dirt and stink,
of nothing more I can think.
Strewn lives and clogged tears,
stomach stuck to the pangs of fear.
From crumpled faces hunger rose into the air,
from all the loses, yet a smile rose into the air.
