What A Friend Is Poem by Valerie Christine Anderson

What A Friend Is

Rating: 5.0

A friend is someone who loves and cares
For everyone he talks to
Even when they cry their tears
A helping hand to hold to.

A friend is the first one at the door
When everyone else walks out on you
He’ll never be too far
To hear and listen to you.

You can’t be a friend just to get one
You have to be one without return
A friend never needs acceptance or response
But he’ll always teach the good things he’s learned.

So if you’ve never been a true friend
You’ll never know what you’ve missed
Cause if you’re always there for others
You’ll always be blessed.
