Who knows of the bare faced liar
The universal cheat
Who with countless devils conspire
Man and God to defeat

The living God, each dying soul
Both seeking to unite
God willing lost man to his goal
Through Heaven's guiding Light

The Promise God gave to sinners
To willing souls on earth
To turn lost losers to winners
Granting them second birth

To live, to thrive as ne'er before
To serve without a frown
Receive the key to Heaven's door
When won, is victories crown

Through righteous hope, through faith and trust
Given freely on high
By He who formed mankind from dust
To live and never die

Through selfish will, man lost the way
Through disobedient sin
So it remains, until today
Seeking new birth to win

For this! God chose his Son to die
Man's putrid soul to clean
As man came down life's King on high
Through love to intervene

Two thousand years have long since gone
Countless refuse to bow
Still those who see, follow God's Son
