What I Have

I found a stranger
That gave me optimism
In a time when nothing seems real
I have a friend
That will be there
Even when there is nothing to feel
What he sees in me
Is the ghost I’ve left behind
For this I try desperately to conceal
He who knows the real me
Shall be cursed a thousand times over
Blessed are you for whom I do not reveal.
