What I Learned As A School Girl Poem by Jennifer Ann Kraengel

What I Learned As A School Girl

Rating: 2.2

I am a school girl, coming back to school from summer.
Fresh out of bright ideas, not that smart anymore.
Oh no! Language Art is first! What horror will my teacher do?
*Gasp! * She is making us do the hardest thing. Oh well! Here it goes!
“Come over and you will see!
A B C D E F G
Me oh my, oh my oh gee!
H I J K L M N O P
I just went and banged my knee!
Q R S T U V W
At least I'm away from that terrible Q!
X Y Z!
Now its over as you can see! ”
Now, The alphabet march is over!
That was hard, as you surely agree!
I hope I never have to do that again!
Or else I might break my pen!
Wait...What is wrong with me?
There is something wrong, can't you see?
Oh no, I am speaking only in rhyme!
I hope it will stop in a matter of time!
