In reference to yesterday?
Would you see the light
Like the one you shine on me
Letting me vision
What once I could not see?
Would you feel the beating of a warm passionate heart
One that has your back
When your feet grow weary
But your dreams still slightly glow?
If I could do for you
What you do for me
Would you see your roads traveled
Lead to paths yet to be seen?
Would torches glowing bright
Enhance the ones glowing dim
Via opening new doors
Which once were not in sight?
Would bridges burning in the night
Help you cross the well-traveled seven seas
Or is it time to build
One across uncharted waters?
