What If Poem by DUW Robinson

What If

Rating: 2.7

n a bulletproof vest I await Cupid
But her arrow shall pierce me through
A nickel for my thoughts, for my heart a penny
What if I love you?

I built a castle of tears and dust
And a diadem of diamonds for you too
Now it has found us
What if I love you?

The night-bird and stars draw near
I made a wish when I sat in the moon
And the wind and angels did give ear
What if I love you?

I am with bare heart and void memory
Then I fill up with butterflies when I see you
And lift up to the skies and defy gravity
What if I love you?

Lost in your eyes and voice
They say ur lips are yellow, I see blue
For you I shall bear love's curse
What if I love you?

In the mirror I see you behind
Your hair drops, your lips are full
I tell the angels I want you by my side
What if I love you?
