What If Poem by Annajoy Thompson

What If

Maybe I'm the cloud
On the cloudless day
Maybe I'm the silence
When there's so much to say

Maybe I'm the flaw
In the flawless plan
Maybe I'm the foot
When all you needed was a hand

But what if I'm not
What if I'm just me
What if I'm who
I always wanted to be

What if I stop worrying
About what other people see
And just go through life
Being me

What if
