wrapped with silky colorful years
where you open to find pearls of laughter
with golden smiles and musical cheers
between your fingers sparkles the innocence
and the purity you miss in people and days
in your palms you find childhood love
and in your arms it longs and stays
what if happiness was found in treasure box?
and only one person had the key
only one person says i love you
only one person sets you free
layers of the soft red velvet
keep your heart warm and safe
and the ancient wooden walls
give you the peace you always craved
what if happiness was found in a treasure box?
and everything in your hand was so true
but it will never be like that
as life is meant to be sweet but cruel
people say it was really in a box
till the day it was opened by a lady so fair
she said, it makes life fake and meaningless
only with hope you'd find happiness in the air
