What if I knew how to change what had happened,
If I only knew,
I would stop myself from falling hard,
And head over heels for you,

If you just didn’t exist,
Then maybe I might just be fine,
Instead I’m stuck thinking of you,
And the memory when our love used to shine,

You see I’m lost in love and I’m lost in pain,
But I guess this is what heart-ache is all about,
I'm running in circles in the dark,
And there seems to be no way out,

No way out of my misery,
No way out,
No way out of the lonely silence,
Not even if I shout,

So again, if I could change what had happened,
If I only could,
I would erase this memory in a split second,
Yes, I definitely would!
