What Love Is Poem by Chad Shumate

What Love Is

Love is a strong word;
Physically and mentally exhausting, enough never heard.

It's telling your significant other how you feel;
Letting them know that what you have seems so surreal.

Every moment spent with them appears to be a fairy tale;
Imagining the ideal place, together in paradise, no rain, no snow, no hail.

Instinctively knowing one another's deepest thoughts;
Putting up with, tolerating one another's poorest faults.

Keeping in mind that no one person is perfect;
Enduring the trials and tribulations constantly showing how they are worth it.

Just like Heaven or up above is;
These words have just shown you What Love Is.
