What's Missing Now? Poem by Asma Khan

What's Missing Now?

What's missing in my life after you?
The sun rises and sets in my hopeless eyes like before,
The butterflies bring your colours to me like before,
The moon comes at night patting me sweet dreams like before,
The clouds shower drops of hopes on me like before,
The wind tangles in my locks like before,
The rivers flow at the pace of deer's speed like before,
The time flies in a blink of my dreamy eyes like before,
The world grows stranger and stranger like before,
But something is missing? Something is not like before...?
My heart refuses to beat now.
My heart cries on your name more.
My heart dies to see us part.
My heart mirrors your face in my eyes.
My heart reckons the broken dreams.
My heart is missing indeed because,
it's still with you; -(
