What shall the new be there in this New Year?
The nameless graves shall remain nameless.
Light purses shall remain light.
The flowers that wilted in Spring shall not blossom in Autumn.
Life shall remain short and long shall be art.
Only the belly shall teach tricky arts to the have nots.
Our planet shall remain a hell for some
And a paradise for the privileged ones.
Each day the Sun shall rise with gleaming rays
Each eve shall be bathed in sad twilight.
Might shall be right again this year
False hopes shall glitter again this year.
New but not new very a few, in this foggy dew changing hue the w i c k e d old shall come sure!
The flowers that wilted in Spring shall not blossom in Autumn. Life shall remain short and long shall be art. Very good poem. let the New Year be a wonderful year for u. tony

Might shall be right again this year False hopes shall glitter again this year..................YOU ARE VERY RIGHT, BUT WE MAY HOPE BETTER DAYS WILL COME. We MUST always HOPE, NEVER LOSE HOPE. REALIZE our BLESSINGS each minute, each hour. There are many people have eyes but never see BLESSINGS. GOD is HERE.and HE Blesses YOU. A 10 for your poem.
A sad reality, mankind will never embrace the new for as can be seen history repeats itself with endless wars etc.
A well crafted poem of the day. Congrats on your featured piece...10++🤝👌👏
After all lets make it better for those we have the possibility.
We always look for reasons to be hopeful for the future, o is the New Years Day. So let us be optimistic for the new years to come. A nice thought nicely penned. Congrats!
a new year promises much but delivers nothing new except fresh horrors and scars. we cannot have a better tomorrow if we do not start now. A wonderful poem Abdul, thoughtful meditation, looking through the inebriations of the new years festivity only ever reveals the bitter hangovers that come with it. Congratulations, great choice for poem of the day!
