What The Snowman Learned About Love Poem by Joey DeSantis

What The Snowman Learned About Love

Rating: 5.0

A world once so free.
Now torn apart by enemies.
The free live to die,
and what was once so happy is now sad.

We live amongst each other like nothings wrong.
When all we see around us is pain and death.
Your high school crush caught sleeping around,
you find yourself alone and down

How you live your life is up to you.
Live for yourself,
control nothing but you.

Some were born to die,
and others were born to keep the world spinning.
Can we really control the world?

Its supposed to be one,
but we only care about ourselves.
You're born alone,
you die alone.

How you live your life is up to you.
Live for yourself
control nothing but you.

Well done Joey, this is a really deep poem of inner self. Yes, we should live for ourselves, and control only our lives, and bring our dreams, hopes, and goals to reality. Thank you so much for sharing this 10+ poem. Love & hugs, Barbara
