What The World Cannot See Poem by Buxton Shippy

What The World Cannot See

Who could not see your beauty,
Budding like a rose,
Vibrant and filled with significance
For all seasons
Even though the World is blind?

It's hard to fit in
Because of your peculiar essence;
It's even harder to dance
When the rhythm is so fleeting.
Nevertheless, let's muster
Courage and will
To move on these Autumn winds.

Yesterday your infant innocence smile.
Today your maturing wisdom laugh.
Perhaps tomorrow we will see you in eternity,
Perhaps.
