What You Will Do? Poem by eve Taylor

What You Will Do?

You will hide in your dark disguise,

shield yourself away from the day,

in the light is far too blinding,

for the secrets you seek to keep.

When eyes look to your direction,

you will hide in your dark disguise,

casting your gaze down to the ground,

making your stance not for to chance.

Walk around your eyes to the ground,

let life to pass as it goes fast,

you will hide in your dark disguise,

let it make you safe if you must.

Maybe one day when skies aren't grey,

you can smile and alight the night,

but until the day that you do,

you will hide in your dark disguise.
