When Death Comes Poem by Gaurav Bhaduri

When Death Comes

He comes without a prior call
to deliver one from pain
he sees no ties, he sees no bond
he only sees flame.

With soft foot, he walks and comes
he comes with open arms.
He holds his head up and straight
he steels what is rightfully ours.

No one can over power
no one can stop
no one can do a thing.

When he comes
he doesn’t see
but sets a soul free.
