I would think of you
When the clouds start to cry
Taking me back to the days
When it was hard to say goodbye

How the rain would make you stay
And how I would tease you
How you smiled when I said it rained
Just so I could be with you

But I never thought I'd see the day
Where you would walk off into the rain
Couldn't see the tears on your cheeks
But your reddish eyes revealed the pain

And you still walked on
