When it's all done,
And the curtains have drawn,
When the last ray of sun,
Fades into the dawn,
When the world goes to sleep,
And the stars come to play,
I'll sit and think deep,
As I end this day.
When it's all done,
And the memories remain,
I'll hold onto the fun,
And let go of the pain,
For the moments we shared,
And the lessons we learned,
Are the gems we've declared,
And the bridges we've burned.
When it's all done,
And the clock strikes midnight,
I'll look at the moon,
With its silver light,
And think of the laughter,
And the tears we've shed,
For they both make us stronger,
And they both keep us fed.
When it's all done,
And the pages turn,
I'll close the chapter,
And let it all burn,
For the past is the past,
And it's time to move on,
To create new stories,
And sing a new song.
When it's all done,
And the colors fade,
I'll paint a new canvas,
With the dreams I've made,
For when one door closes,
Another one opens,
And we must keep moving,
Even when it seems hopeless.
When it's all done,
And the words have been said,
I'll hold onto the ones,
That are etched in my head,
For they'll be my guide,
In the times of despair,
They'll give me the strength,
To carry on and dare.
When it's all done,
And the journey ends,
I'll look back with pride,
At the battles I've won,
For every scar tells a story,
And every wound heals,
They make us who we are,
And give us the will to deal.
When it's all done,
And the music plays,
I'll let my heart sing,
And my soul will sway,
For the rhythm of life,
Is in its ups and downs,
And we must dance along,
Till we reach our crowns.
When it's all done,
And the world is at peace,
I'll close my eyes,
And my soul will release,
For we're only here,
For a limited time,
So let's embrace every moment,
And make it sublime.
When it's all done,
And the final curtain falls,
I'll smile and say,
I've lived it all,
For this life is a journey,
And we're all just travelers,
So let's make the most of it,
Before we're just mere spectators.
When it's all done,
And I take my last breath,
I'll be grateful for the journey,
And all that it's been,
For when it's all done,
And I'm laid to rest,
I'll be at peace knowing,
I gave it my best.
