When Jesus is near the world seems like a blur
Leaning on Him every moment, He gives strength to endure

Through trials and tribulations there is no need to fear
By keeping his word in our heart, he tells us to be of good cheer

When Jesus is near all our burdens He will bear
by drawing nigh to him and casting on him all our care

He always hears when we pray and will never turn us away
since he is always our savior come whatever may

When Jesus is near we hear his whisper soft
and remember all He's done for us so many times and so oft

We remember how he delivered from many fiery trials
and has kept us in his care through all our traveling miles

When Jesus is near our soul feels peaceful and calm
as our heart He soothes with his healing balm


John 16: 33 These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
