Sometimes in life
We find ourselves in difficult situations
Sometimes we choose to give up
Or hold in our emotions in
Pretend to have a perfect life

We need someone by our side
To tell us that it is ok to cry
And though it's okay
People don't even try

Instead,
They take it out on others
And don't live life
People tend to shut out others
And exclude them from their lives
Even their closest friends and family
Their ride or die

We as human beings
Are allowed to feel things
We're even allowed to be okay
It's okay to not be ok
But it isn't okay to lie

No matter your situation
Let people in
And make the best of what you have
Because-
When life gives you lemons
You make lemonade
Remember-
It's okay to not be okay
