When life pushed me down
Into valleys beneath the earth
Where sky was never in sight
Came you from world another
With many joys fairly unreal
Like the first star of Twilight
Making way for many along.
When valleys spilled darkness
And green seemed forever far
When words felt all evasive
And believed cannot I ever fly
You got me wings and words
Reminding me of "inked-feather"
Hidden in my life so dimly lit.
When my words found the Reader
You, O partner in wild wander
I felt I could fly and reach sky
For my stories learnt after all
That they too can be heard.
