When the future lies behind us
When we hide beneath God’s wing
Where the devil cannot find us
Where Christ is Lord and King

When God lays wide Salvation’s door
When Jesus takes command
When sin becomes a foreign shore
Where nothing’s left but sand

When darkness fades to Jesus Light
When man’s to God restored
When rags are changed to robes of white
Through Jesus Christ the Lord

When man will live and see no grave
When strange is every pain
When life to death no more is slave
When Jesus comes again

When faith has broken all our ties
When doubt has seen defeat
When under foot the devil lies
When man is made complete

When night becomes an endless day
When no one wears a frown
When man no more to sin will stray
But wear a righteous crown

When all God’s sheep are in His hand
When Satan’s power’s seized
When all life’s things we understand
Will God be truly pleased

When all arrive who Jesus calls
When cleansed of wayward ways
When living stones form Heaven’s walls
We’ll fill God’s house of praise……
