When Sea & Ocean Dry

God’s word is here to read at will
It tells the truth so plain
The wrath that once was sent to kill
One day will come again

The masses hear Salvation’s call
But turn their heads instead
Yet when the stars from Heaven fall
They’ll wish that they were dead

They’ll seek to hide in nook and crack
Refusing still to pray
But God then too will turn His back
As was in Noah’s day

Backsliders yet who don’t return
Hear now God’s word unfold
Make no mistake you too will burn
You’re neither hot nor cold

That day will see the mountains low
The seas and oceans dry
When man finds nowhere else to go
He’ll look for God on high

Too late! Too late! God won’t relent
The Lord won’t change His mind
So once again His wrath is sent
Yet death will no-one find

How dreadful then, that day will be
When Jesus calls His own
When Satan from the pit’s set free
When man’s left all alone

God’s Holy Ghost, will long have gone
Hell’s loose in every land
Best come today, come seek God’s Son
Whilst Christ is yet at hand…
