When We Are Close - Poem by Dennis Field

When we are close,
it is as if we are lost in time,
the space between us closes,
our souls do soar in the sky,
the love binds us together,
the beauty shine's through,
like the flowers that bloom,
and could make rivers run dry,
for the love we share,
is not in the air,
its between us two,
just me and you,
so let the time slow,
and never let go,
of the love we share.
