When Will It End? Poem by Shelby L

They say war is a good thing,
It will help bring peace to all.
Is it just me or is this truly right?
If some one could please explain,
I'm not getting it theres just to many reasons why.
Isn't peace about happiness and love,
How can other people say there happy,
With part of there family gone.

We lose so many people each day,
With war thats all around us.
It's something you can't really escape form,
For it lurks all around.
If people could learn to talk it out,
and agree on certain matters.
Think about how much better for everyone
That that would be.
No fighting involved,
Familys are togeather.
To me that sounds just grand.

How ever we know that leaders,
Politics and others,
Can't push there pride away,
So we just might as well get use to it,
For it seems like something thats all ways going to stay.
