On a hot summer day
It's good to enjoy some shade
With a tall lemonade
especially if you feel gray

Jump in the water
With your son or daughter
And watch the tears turn into cheers
Ice cream is another good cure

Call a friend or two
Tell them I love you
With a squirt gun water fight
Joy will make all your problems light

Or sit with a good book in a cool room
A movie can also take away your gloom
Yes dream away your doom
And forgive them no matter who or whom
