I'm from flashing lights
from Cafe-Con leche you
can smell in the distance

Intoxicating and enveloping you
in it's aroma
I am from the people that
care about you no matter
what

I'm from the bodega's on
every street corner and
cheap stores stores selling pens
that don't work. I'm from
living your life just the way you want it

I'm from letting your dreams
take you to far away places while
you're asleep.
I am from the past, the present and the
Future.
