Where Is Your God Poem by Strydar Enox

Where Is Your God

You know, I've never been a religious man,
Never held in contempt the sins my flesh demands.
Though my mind might be truant, my emotions lie fluent.
Obsessing with reasons and faith to pursue it.
Finding no answers just darkness that proves it.
Stuck in my chest my heart savagely beats.
And still my worries never cease.
How easy it is to swear off god.
To be blinded by the creation of political lies.
But what's there left in the soul of all.
With having no faith only darkness shall fall.
Though where is your god when the innocent are raped?
Where does he stand where these horrors relate?
He's on the cross the Church may say.
There he dies for our sins he pays.
I am no Christian so these theories be lost.
Asking the Jews they respond in kind.
Look to the Torah and its secrets you'll find.
I haven't the time to find a needle in a haystack.
Nor the time to argue who's translations be right.
Unified though, I believe in change.
How each of us relates can never be the same.
Each carries their joy just with their pains.
I asked a scientist once if god was there.
He looked at me curious and asked me, where?
I shrugged my shoulders and look him in the eyes.
He responded in kind staring into my eyes.
It can not be proven, or disproven the same.
Not enough evidence to prove either way.
I am not saying God doesn't Exist.
What I'm saying is people are hiding the truth within.
There is a God, or more they may be.
But in most religions Condemning is what they breed.
I believe in a power, some call it god.
Yet mine has not distraction of heavenly facade.
My faith lies in the truth that always is.
We are born, We die, and then more rise.
Nothing can last through the passage of time.
Everything degrades or just plain dies,
Like the phoenix that dies in flame.
From its ashes new life still rises the same.
Symbolic of a concept hard to understand.
Of an infinite infinite of possible times.
The universe is infinite, the multiverse too.
All one infinity. and yet this infinity has no end.
Another can exist to traverse between.
What I just said was meant to confuse the head.
For truly unknown life shall remain.
