'Where's Daddy? ' Poem by Bryan Cobaris

'Where's Daddy? '

“Where’s daddy? ”             written by Bryan Cobaris    inspired by The Holy Spirit

This poem is dedicated to young ladies of all ages. It’s not too late and God has a plan for your life. Trust Him.

On the day she was born she looked around the delivery room.

She only saw her mother’s face and it was filled with love; mixed with gloom.

She knew there was a man meant to make her secure and handle her with care.

In the early years she didn’t know he was missing; because he was never there.

As she became a teen, she looked for daddy’s love in the arms of young boys.

She didn’t know they would use her, and treat her like one of their toys.

You see, their daddies weren’t there either to teach them what was right.

They never learned that girls are roses; not meant to pass time through the night.

She got older and lost hope, as she watched her dreams fading away.

Trading her heart and body for “just enough” was a hard price to pay.

After years of men AND women using her guess what she got for her heartache:

She became pregnant with her own daughter…one she begged the Lord to take.

But it was at the end of her rope that she found what she had been looking for.

By surrendering and crying out to God; she finally walked through the right door.

He is the Father she had been pleading for her entire life.

He is the one who healed her, and loved her and shaped her into someone’s wife.

Maybe you can’t relate to this story but you know a little girl who can.

Please stop her before she ruins her life in the arms of just any man.

Let her know that she is beautiful and special and God remembers every tear.

Tell her He won’t leave her nor forsake her, so not to fear….Daddy’s here.
