Where Thoughts Are Leading

Not what you say not what you do
Not what from God you'll hide
Not lies spoken, through me and you
But every thought inside

From thoughts come words comes every deed
Revealing depths within
Saintly wisdom, demonic weed
From holiness, to sin

Thoughts can be, a Christ held ladder
Above, beyond the sky
Or venomous deadly adder
Biting until we die

What now are the thoughts your thinking?
Yesterday, and before?
Are they truthful, or lies foul stinking
To open or close life's door?

To live knowing one's Heaven bound
To dwell The Promised Land
Let God's Kingdom inside be found
As Heaven always planned

So is this life, with bad and good
Shadows with strands of gold
Outstretched hands pouring forth blood
Revealing love foretold

Compassion's always worth thinking
For such, Christ Jesus died
Contrary where hate's unshrinking
Though true love's been applied

Whether in and out of season
With selfless love and grace
Reach out, accept hands of reason
Through faith, you'll see God's face.....
