Where Will Resides - Poem by Michael P. Johnson
Have you talked with Jesus today?
Have you sought our Father’s face?
Is your life as yet in disarray?
You’re walking in disgrace
Take note that life is flying by
Regard your dreadful plight
Will Christ not open wide man’s eye
To see His guiding Light
Where will resides, The Truth to learn
Where true repentance reigns
It’s not too late from sin to turn
As long as breath remains
Is God not filled with selfless love?
Can God not be your friend?
Take heart, through faith with eyes above
Allow your knee to bend
I too was in that state of fear
I too was lost and dead
But Jesus died that I may hear
And turn my wayward head
Stretch forth to Christ your wavering hands
Reach out and touch His own
Take comfort that He understands
And wants your heart of stone
He wants to give you life my friend
He wants to give His all
He wants your torment here to end
And cease your dreadful fall
Be bold be strong be filled with cheer
Let darkness now depart
Let God remove your every fear
Through Jesus in your heart
